The bride and her BMs had a relaxing (much needed) spa day in preparation for the big event.  On the agenda was a mani, pedi, and 1 hour massage!! H-E-A-V-E-N!!  I have to say, this is so needed before the rush and craziness of everything.  So afterward, we nourished ourselves with some delicious sushi and then off to rehearsal!

Rehearsing can get a girl hungry (again) so after the church the bridal party and family head to Frankie's for the rehearsal dinner.  This is when we get gifted with the best BM gift ever!  The BFF gave us all Tiffany's necklaces with our initials on them!  So SWEET!!

The necklace was enclosed with a heartfelt thank you card from the bride which brought tears to my eyes!  I heart her so much!

During our Girls Only Sleepover, I also surprised the BFF with a gift of my own!  She's a huge Pandora fan, so to commemorate her BIG DAY I got her a Pandora Wedding Bell to add to her charm bracelet.

I also wanted to give a gift to the MoH just because she did such a great job!!  Thanks Jods, for always being on point!  She also received a Pandora charm from me (the bride got her the Pandora Bracelet)!

What did you and your girls do to prepare for the Big Day?

Today we celebrated Jeff's birthday with our closest friends, friends that we like to call family, more specifically, RICFAM!  Instead of our usual potluck, the fiance wanted to cook for everyone, by all means babe, go right ahead!
So while the festivities were going on-cooking, watching football, dogs playing, the BFF decided to start on one of her wedding projects, her wedding pomanders.  She recruited the fam to help with the project and it turned out being very productive and fun.  We actually got 8 out of 30 done.  So that's not bad!
The boys even decided to help!!  As you can see, their hands are in it, but they're eyes are glued to the football game.  Whatever works right, just keep doing what you're doing boys!

Even the little one was excited to help!  Thanks Ethan!

Luckily most of the BFF's wedding party was present for this event.  So we were instructed to get to work, after all, that is a part of our duty.  Anything for the happy couple, right?!

It's always fun, when friends can get together, celebrate and have a good time.  It's even better when friends work together and get something accomplished and still have fun doing it at the same time!  So thanks to our friends for coming over to celebrate a very special birthday and thanks (per BFF) for your help with this project.  She knows that a lot of love went into it and is truly very grateful!!
Did your wedding party gladly participate in any of your projects or was the experience the total opposite?

I got engaged in May 09, 2010...and a week later my BEST FRIEND got engaged too!  Jeff didn't plan it, it just happened that way.  So now my best friend and I are planning our weddings together (like Bride Wars without the fighting)...it's so much fun!  We're keeping each other in check and doing DIY things together.  It's nice to share the experience with someone your so close with...to vent, share ideas and opinions, or even spend the time shopping together!

So last weekend, I was @ my BF's house helping her do her save the dates, it was a really good feeling getting something accomplished and checking it off the to-do-list.  She later texted me and said:  "thank you, I don't know what I'd do without you"  and it just touched me.  Sorry I had to share, I was just wondering if anyone is planning their wedding with their BF and having the same experience or maybe the opposite?  Share your stories and feelings!
